Flower Smooch Card

Another fun card using the Smooch Designs which will be available on June 1st when the new catalog comes alive!!! I used Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Tempting Turquoise cs along with some Smooch DSP! How fun!!!
I spent all day yesterday preparing for my May and June clubs! Wowser, does it ever take a long time to create cards and cut the paper. You would think I would be getting faster instead of slower. Today after church I planted the garden. It was my husbands idea to get some tomato plants, etc so we did that and came home and planted. I saw so many people I knew at the garden shop so was a fun trip!!! We also ran into my sister and her husband from Colorado as they made a stop and we were just coming out of the cafe for lunch so that was a surprise!
If interested in joining Stampin' Up! just let me know as it only costs $99 and you can choose $125 of anything of your choice in the catalog--like the Big Shot, MDS, downloads, etc! Then you can join our fun team. You can join for a business or just for your own pleasure and stay as long as you would like but of course I am sure you would stay after you see how much fun we have!!! Joe

This is the one of the newest editions to our place in April. This is Joe, a Border Collie  that has added a lot of conversation pieces to our day. He loves to ride in the Ranger when we check mares, cows or fix fence. He is dragging everything out of the garage and onto the lawn. What a fun puppy!!!!

Folded Card

This is a fun fold card that I cased from Patty Bennetts blog and we made it at our clubs. You start with a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of card stock and score vertically and horizontally in half. Then score at 4 1/2 inches with the new diagonal plate on the top right and turn paper and score again at top right. Turn paper over and fold paper up and then over > Decorate as you please!!
Wind, wind! That is what we had all day today so I got my books all caught up again! Yeah!

Vase Smooch Card

This is another Smooch Card made with the fun stamp set and all of the bright colored card stock, rhinestones and new ribbon! Benjamin

Our latest edition to our place--Benjamin! Benjamin was born from an embryo from a black mare and mothered by Paula. Just born yesterday and is very little. The embryo was a success so has been fun to watch!!! This colt is very small but will hopefully take off and grow!!! Paula has been a great mother!

Raining Flowers

Happy Mother's Day to everyone in heaven and on earth! Hope you are having the best day ever! We plan to have some family time and maybe do a little fishing.
The card today is made out of some new products from the 2012-13 Catalog. Can you find them? I used the stamp set Raining Flowers and stamped each flower four times and cut aound the image and then added dimensions to each layer. I also cut out the stem and leaves. (a little time consuming but well worth the time)

Melvin & Mothers Day Card

 This is a picture of "Melvin". He had a rough start but is doing well and home now from the clinic.

 Melvin is getting more active as now chasing a bucket around the pasture with his mom "Rita". The three colts are so much fun to watch as they play and explore!

 I made a Mother's Day Card with some of the new products that will be coming out in June in the new catalog. Can you see some of the new products? I used the new In Colors- Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple and also the new Gumball Green Ribbon and the Floral District DSP! What fun this card was!! The new catalog is out and so many new ideas! Stampin' Up! is incredible!! I have been struggling some with my blog as there have been some changes and also added my pictures to Picasa. I love the program but it has been a struggle to get my pictures posted. I am starting to get it each time! Wow, life has so many changes!!
Had a great downline meeting on Thursday but never got pictures of the cards! Carol was so excited as she sent in her first order of MDS and got her cards back in a short time! They turned out so nice!!! How exciting to have her first project turn out like she wanted it! We laughed so hard at the meeting my gut hurt! I havent laughed that hard in a long time and it was so great to be able to laugh again!!!  Have a great day!

New Babies for 2012

This is some pictures of our new colts for 2012! The top picture is a filly that was just born today! The bottom picture is Frankie who was born in April. We are half done foaling now. I will try and get a picture of the other one this next week! They are so darling watching them run in the pasture by their moms.

Sympathy Card

We made this sympathy card in my Stamp A Stack Sympathy class! Just love this stamp set as it makes such nice sympathy cards. Tomorrow I will try and put on the blog some pictures of our little colts. They have been so much fun but exhausting for waiting for them to arrive. I am not patient on mare watch anymore! We got all of our branding done and cows to summer pasture so that will help the workload a lot. I have received some new goodies for the new catalog and today my new catalog should arrive! Can't wait to see it in the hardcover as have seen it online and of course it is beautiful again!!!!

New 31 Bags & Patterns

Just had to show you a couple of new bags I got in from 31 Bags!  So cute!!! The top one is the small utility Bag so just added some embroidery on it. The bottom one is thermal and like a knapsack! If you ever need any graduation gifts, etc just let me know. I am in the middle of making rhubarb pies and rhubarb cobbler. We are loading out pairs so it between I am trying to get some baking done!! Yummy rhubarb!!!

We made this scrapbook page in club this month by using Crumb Cake 12 x 12 card stock and different shapes and sizes of Brights Collection (#117155) Designer Series Paper. We also added the pennant punch (122361) in Tangerine Tango and Whisper White card stock. The letters smile were added to the pennants.This is a great generic page as you could make it into a birthday, child's, outdoor, etc page. It is also a great way to use your scraps of DSP as you could make the sections smaller or bigger. Have a great day!

 This card was made with the Smooch Suite set and Daffodil Seam Binding. I just love the colors in this card as it makes one so happy with all the bright colors. The Smooch Set will be available again on June 1st when the new catalog will be out.

Yesterday was a great day meeting new friends at Helynn's workshop. We had a great time sharing ideas, making make and takes, using the Big Shot and the My Digital Studio! Helynn was a great hostess sharing a lovely St. Patricks dessert and our very own St. Patrick's cookies made with Stampin' Up! cookie press. What a fun time by all!!!

Downline Cards

This is a few more cards that Jayne has made and is sharing with you . What a great way to use up some scraps of DSP!

Another quick, nice and simple card! This card is using the Elementary Everyday Elegance DSP that you can get free in the SAB catalog for just ordering $50 worth of merchandise.

Wow! Another beautiful day as it got up to 83 here this afternoon. Cows are loving it now that we are calving! We do need just a little moisture. Have a great day!!! Getting ready for a workshop tomorrow and some clubs coming up!!!

Jennifer's Can

This is a cute gift that Jennifer, my downline, gave to her grandchildren for a holiday. You just take a regular pop top can of vegetables or fruit and take off the bottom of the can with like a Pampered Chef can opener, clean out the inside and dry and then fill it back up with candy, socks, etc and then put the bottom lid back on with Crystal Effects. Let it dry! Decorate-- and then the recepitant can open the pop top!!! How fun is that!!!

Jayne's Cards

This is one of several cards I will be showing you that my downline, Jayne, made. Isn't it beautiful! She will be sending me several now that she has learned to upload her pictures. Great job, Jayne. My computer should be back tomorrow so looking forward to posting again!

Computer Crash

Just a note to let you know that my hard drive crashed and not sure if we can save anything or not! Of course, it was my laptop that had all my pictures and MDS projects on it. I did have most of my pictures backed up on my external hard drive and my MDS downloads are all on another computer so thinking and hoping we can transfer them but not sure--I wont lose my downloads but may have to download each one again individually. Oh, the fun of computers!!! As soon as Dennis brings the computer back I will be up and running again.
In the meantime I have been scrapbooking which is good!!! I am almost finished with a Family Wedding Album and now will work on my Convention/Leadership Album which has not been added onto since the Orlando Convention!!! Then I am going to take all of my pictures out of albums and boxes and begin sorting. I had my albums all caught up to date and then through the years we have taken this picture out and that picture out for a school project and now have a mess again!!! Hopefully, by Spring my albums will be nice and neat again!!!! Have a great Sunday!!!

More Sympathy Cards

These are 2 more sympathy cards that we did in our Stamp A Stack. This card was cased from Stamping Pretty with Mary Fish.

This is another card we made with Wild Wasabi and Early Expresso, and Early Expresso Ribbon. It is fun to sometimes pull out the older stamp sets and make cards with them.

Sympathy Card Class

This is two of the four sympathy cards we made today at the Stamp A Stack Sympathy Card Class. We had such a great time as was so relaxing and everyone was so creative. The top card I used the stamp set "Field Flowers" with Rose Red and the newspaper DSP.

You just have to love Soft Suede and Baja Breeze. On this card we also used the Labels Framelits and Baja Breeze seam binding. On one of the cards I changed it by using all 3 of the smallest Label Framelits instead of the punch! We had a great day! Tomorrow I will show you the other 2 that we made!!

Valentine Card

This is a fun valentine card but Oh the ideas you could create from this simple basic card Dawn has a video on her blog on how to make this card. You could also add ribbon or a belly band around the middle--make it into a Wedding, Baby Card. The ideas are endless!
This is one of my favorite days as we will be having a Downline Meeting this afternoon and so many items to share with such a great group! This is a beautiful necklace that I received in the mail from my upline, Jill Olson. It is beautiful, Jill! Stampin' Up! will be discontinuing the Simply Adorned line in June.

Club Cards

This is one of the cards we did at club this month! The technique was to match the scallops on the top and bottom. We used the new stamp set from the Occasions mini catalog and added 3 large pearls.

This scrapbook page was made with the square scallop die, Real Red card stock for the base and then added some DSP and a punch and some brads! Fun and fast page.

We have had a busy last 2 days! 2 clubs and also a class at the Assisted Living which has kept me busy but fun! Had a lot of fun at both clubs this month! Enjoy the post and have a great evening!
